GRACEFUL HEALTH + WELLNESS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

About the Practice

  • While we don’t replace your PCP or OB-GYN, we do offer something many women aren’t getting in traditional care: time, clarity, and a personalized plan. Our role is to complement your existing providers—or offer a supportive starting point while you work to become established with one. We focus on the systems most often overlooked in conventional visits, and we’re happy to collaborate with your PCP or OB-GYN to ensure you receive cohesive, whole-person care that reflects your goals and needs.

  • Costs vary depending on the services and level of support included in your personalized care plan. The initial consultation—which includes a full health review and comprehensive lab evaluation—is $595. During your follow-up visit, we’ll walk you through a detailed breakdown of recommended next steps and program options.

Our wellness programs begin with a 3-month commitment, with the option to transition into a lower-cost maintenance plan once your goals are met. On average, clients invest $2,150 for their initial 3-month care package (not including the consultation). HSA payments are accepted.

  • Graceful Health and Wellness is a private-pay practice and does not accept insurance. We are not in-network with Medicaid or Medicare, and claims cannot be submitted to either program for reimbursement.

Because we operate outside of the insurance system, we do not submit prior authorizations or coordinate with insurance companies. All of our services are considered elective and are designed to support your health and wellbeing through a proactive, personalized approach—not to replace medically necessary treatment.

We do accept HSA payments and are happy to provide documentation for your personal records.

  • We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, and health savings accounts (HSA). For HSA, please check with your account provider for specific details.

  • Your first consultation includes a 45-minute comprehensive evaluation with Jordan Potts, FNP-C, MSCP. During this visit, we’ll review your medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle factors, and personal health goals. We’ll also order a full lab panel (included in the cost of your consult) to gain a deeper understanding of what’s driving your symptoms.

Once your lab results are in, you’ll return for a 45-minute follow-up appointment where we’ll review your results and discuss personalized treatment options. At that point, you’ll have the opportunity to enroll in one of our comprehensive wellness programs. These begin with a 12-week commitment, with the option to transition into a maintenance package once your initial goals have been met.

  • You can schedule an appointment by calling our office, visiting our website, or using our online booking system.

  • We understand that life happens—and we kindly ask that any changes to your appointment be made with advanced notice so we can continue to provide high-quality, timely care to all of our clients.

    • To reschedule: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Appointments rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $50 Late Reschedule Fee.

    • To cancel: Please notify us at least 72 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before your appointment will incur a $150 Late Cancellation Fee.

    • Running late? If you arrive more than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment time without notifying the clinic, it will be considered a No-Show, and you will be charged the full consultation fee.

These policies allow us to honor our time commitments and maintain access to care for all clients in a timely and respectful manner.

  • At this time, telehealth is available for follow-up appointments only. We offer this option to provide added convenience and flexibility as you move through your care plan.

We hope to expand our telehealth services to include initial consultations for clients located in Texas in the near future.

  • Appointment frequency depends on your individualized treatment plan, but most clients begin with an initial consultation followed by check-ins approximately every 4 weeks. This allows us to monitor progress, adjust treatment as needed, and ensure consistent support throughout your care.

About Hormone Replacement Therapy

  • Hormone therapy is a treatment designed to restore and rebalance hormone levels in the body. It can be especially beneficial for individuals experiencing symptoms related to perimenopause, menopause, postpartum changes, or other hormone-related conditions.

At Graceful Health and Wellness, we offer personalized hormone therapy tailored to your unique physiology, goals, and health history. Our evidence-based approach is designed to support both immediate symptom relief and long-term health outcomes.

Hormone therapy can help alleviate a wide range of symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, low libido, vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, fatigue, joint pain, and mood swings—helping you feel more comfortable, present, and in control.

In addition to symptom relief, hormone therapy may support improved sleep, increased energy, enhanced sexual health, and protection for bone and heart health—all contributing to a higher quality of life.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. We work closely with you to determine the safest, most effective treatment plan—so you can move forward with confidence and care that truly fits.

  • We offer a range of hormone therapy options tailored to your individual needs, including:

    • Bioidentical Hormone Therapy (BHRT) — estradiol and progesterone

    • Testosterone Therapy

    • Thyroid Hormone Therapy

BHRT is available in a variety of forms and delivery methods, all customized based on your symptoms, lab results, and treatment goals.

Please note: We do not offer pellet therapy.

  • A thorough evaluation—including a detailed review of your medical history, current symptoms, and comprehensive lab testing—will help determine whether a hormone imbalance is contributing to how you feel and whether hormone therapy may be an appropriate part of your treatment plan.

  • Starting hormone therapy at Graceful Health and Wellness is a personalized, step-by-step process designed to give you real answers and thoughtful support from the very beginning.

We begin with a 45-minute consultation to explore your symptoms, health history, and personal goals.
You’ll then complete comprehensive lab testing—included in the cost of your initial visit—to evaluate key hormonal, metabolic, and inflammatory markers.

Once your results are in, we’ll meet for a second 45-minute visit to review your labs and walk you through your Total Body Wellness Profile. This profile guides our treatment recommendations and sets the foundation for your individualized care plan.

From there, you’ll have the opportunity to enroll in one of our 12-week hormone optimization programs. These comprehensive packages include:

    • Prescription hormone therapy and medication management

    • Personalized supplement recommendations

    • Follow-up labs (if clinically indicated)

    • In-office visits and ongoing provider access

    • Exclusive discounts and resources

    • A detailed hormone health guide for deeper education

    • Ongoing support tailored to your evolving needs

This is more than just a prescription. It’s a whole-person approach focused on helping you feel energized, balanced, and more like yourself—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

  • Side effects can vary depending on the type and form of hormone therapy used. Some common side effects may include mild skin irritation with topical treatments, injection site discomfort, mood changes, breast tenderness, or fluid retention.

At Graceful Health and Wellness, we closely monitor your response and adjust your treatment plan as needed to ensure it remains safe, effective, and aligned with your goals.

  • Many patients begin noticing improvements within the first few weeks of treatment, though it can take up to three months to experience the full benefits. Response time varies based on your individual physiology, treatment plan, and overall health—but we’ll be with you every step of the way to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
